Performance PU-Coated Spinnaker Cloth Superlite, Superkote and Maxikote weaves are all treated with Contenders unique polyurethane based coating, resulting in high performance spinnaker cloth offering superior flying characteristics, with high stability, low weight, zero porosity and high water repellency. Contenders Dynakote finish adds silicone to the polyurethane coating for faster handling when hoisting, gybing and dropping the spinnaker, whilst also eliminating water absorption. Dynakote is the benchmark finish used for One Design, Skiffs, and other asymmetric sails. Performance Melamine-Impregnated Spinnaker Fabrics Nylite, Maxilite and Stormlite styles are finished with Contenders durable melamine based impregnation. With excellent strength, stability and durability, this finish produces spinnakers designed to provide years of active and trouble free service. |
